Games of '09

personally looking forward to a number of them. my ds list is huge so i'm just going to mention 360 titles.

bioshock 2
batman: arkham asylum
splatterhouse
bayonetta
darksiders: wrath of war
dante's inferno
tekken 6

i'm sure there are more, i just can't remember them.

bioshock 2? ehhh I'm sort of iffy on it. is mass effect 2 slated for an '09 release?

it's slated for 12/31 so i'm thinking no. i am a little iffy on bioshock 2 but i really want it to be good.

2k boston/ken levine aren't involved in it, it's 2k marin. marin is made up of ex boston/australia employees so hopefully they can do something interesting with it, but personally I don't think it needs a sequel

i agree, 100 percent. it doesn't. and knowing levin isn't on it makes it a little scary.

besides that, the game I was looking forward to most is Retro Game Challenge, and I hope to get it as soon as I get my DS from back home

i think avalon code and kingdom hearts, for ds and psp, look good

dead island is an interesting title. probably riding on the waves of left 4 dead and dead rising though.

why does every fucking zombie game have to have the word "Dead" in the title nowadays

oh yeah, Dragon Age I'm really excited for. but I doubt Alan Wake is coming out this year.

They're all RTS games, but AoE3, EE, and C&C all have the same feel to them, whereas WC3 has something different, which a lot of people absolutely adore.
I personally find it hard to enjoy many other RTS games after playing Civ4 for hundreds of hours. Everything else just seems incompetent and shallow.

I love Civ IV. it makes me want to play Civ Rev very badly.

i want alan wake really bad but i also doubt it's coming this year. dragon age looks decent, i'll admit i'm not a huge fan though. matt lead is like...my underdog of expectancies.

while i may agree that empire earth is an excellent RTS, warcraft III is WAY better than any of the other ones mentioned.
