HOLY CRAP! CAPCOM's New Game

So earlier this week Capcom teased on Xboxlive that they had a big new game announcement coming today.

The video opens with the producer of Resident Evil 5 talking about this new game. How fans all over the world have asked for it, and what they want from it. The trailer, he says, is a direct response to all of that fan feedback. I had no idea what game it was going to be. Dino Crisis? Marvel vs Capcom? Nope. but almost just as good.

Lost Planet 2. The game looks awesome. Looks like it will be loosely squad based. Definitely multiplayer co-op. New things like mobile cover. I think up to 4 player co-op. The trailer is almost completely in game footage. The planet has changed, now its not all frozen. there are jungles and different terrains. The Akrid are huge and way more massively badass than the first game. The story focuses on a few different groups of people, rather than one person. No tentative release date yet, but I'm fucking psyched!

you got me all excited for MvC3 and it's fucking garbage lost planet 2.

anyways, okay, i get it. you're excited for lp2. but how awesome could MvC3 be?! if they did it right, that is.

I have a new rule. I try not to think about games that would be amazing that have a very small likelihood of actually being made. it's just depressing. you know how much i want a MvC3. I take what I can get. And lets face it, how often does Capcom make a bad game?

eh...they've been back and forth so far. but i have hope.

I'm also not a fan of co-op focused games. I like to play games by myself for the most part, and since my 360 is modded it's always risky logging into Live at all

i must admit, i am not a fan of the co-op for RE5 either

or the day time.

the day time, i do like. well...i hope i like. i enjoy when games or movies try to scare people during the day. but...sigh...this is more an action game than survival/horror anymore
