Re: Spectrial spec-ulation
we're making the prosecution look like idiots, and 99% of their "arguments" are based on political ideals, rather than illegal activities. they're trying to make Anakata & crew look like radical anarchists, which they may be, but it's backfiring in the form of them looking like out-of-touch codgers.
spectrial wrote:“When did you meet [Gottfrid] for the first time IRL?” asked the Prosecutor. “We do not use the expression IRL,” said Peter, “We use AFK.” “IRL?” questioned the judge. “In Real Life,” the Prosecutor explained to the judge.
“We do not use that expression,” Peter noted. “Everything is in real life. We use AFK - Away From Keyboard.” “Well,” said Roswall. “It seems I am a little bit out of date.”

Re: Spectrial spec-ulation
he's talking about The Pirate Bay trial currently going on.
Catch up on it here

It's really a ground-breaking trial that will change the face of the internet and how we see file-sharing in the months and years to come

Re: Spectrial spec-ulation
Me too. The judge isn't very tech-savvy, but he definitely like the defense more than the prosecution. Also, the prosecutors already dropped half the charges and are carrying on about personal politics instead of presenting evidence.
What they're trying to do is connect Carl Lundstrom, the multi-millionaire who finances the operation, to take the fall so they can get his money (because nobody else has a whole lot to give.)
If they don't win, they promised to tie up the case in higher courts for 5 years.
