I do not expect any of you simple minded apes (That is correct, I did in fact go there!) to understand the beauty and somber tone of Edith Piaf, but her latest collection of songs chosen by her friends and family is to be known by all those who appreciate music as one of the great CD's of this year! The way her voice drifts up and down between the notes like a leaf trapped in a gentle breeze is something no artist yet mentioned on this forum shall ever replicate. I applaud the generous use of auto-tune used by modern artists and Chris King in current music as it symbolizes the end of musicians trying to sing beyond their abilities! They have given up trying to fool the general populace and have simply decided to blatantly cheat their way into hit singles! No longer shall any argument be made as to the virtuosity of a given artist. The simple fact that the artist used technology to fix their voice shall silence all.

I would expect not. Is that your family suit of armor in your avatar display picture? Is that Spanish? Perhaps Italian?

British actually. Of the Whitman family. Sir Percy once donned it.
