where do you hear about and get your music from?

usually torrents, I get them from what.cd, waffles.fm, coda.fm (rarely), demonoid, and mininova (rarely). however, lately I've gotten really into rapidshare and megaupload, and finding albums posted on music blogs. it gives me the chance to hear about new music and download it at the same time.

i've been browsing blogs a lot lately. demonoid or coda. i'd use what.cd if videocard let me

i miss oink. i use piratebay/coda.fm.

I bought a rapidshare premium account for a month so I've been going KRAZY on that

Torrentz.com it searches like 8 different torrent sites.

torrentz keeps going down recently

torrentz is le bad.
it does a bad job at indexing, and I personally hate the layout.
Also, it doesn't update the S/L ratio enough and has no RSS.
Not to mention that it just draws bandwidth from other sites and makes revenue off of it.

Mininova is a much better site to download things off of.
Where you can check the comments to see if there are any viruses, there's a huge selection of torrents (with user RSS feeds) and the fantastic option to just browse whatever category you'd like.
Not to mention that all respectable uploaders have their names in RED so you can tell which ones are quality uploads.

Thing is torrentz checks mininova and pirate bay so its way more helpful then looking at multiple websites for one thing.

the silent ballet and after the post rock then i go download it with sordo and if i cant find it there mininova or thepiratebay or something

I'm not limiting myself. If I can't find it on a decent site, I go to another site that has it. Private trackers rock for that. I just don't like that Torrentz indexes fake and virus-filled torrents without any warnings you'll get on regular trackers by looking at the trackers.

In the many years I spent downloading torrents while you were in diapers, I have NOT ONCE found a fake torrent, or a virus! Perhaps you should just buy your tentacle hentai instead of downloading it! GOOD DAY!
